What are the dimensions of the booth?
The lounge structure is 5 feet high, 7 feet long and 7 feet high.

How many guests can fit inside?
Up to eight…comfortably ;-)

Can we create color and black & white prints?
Yes! Upon entering the Lounge you will be prompted to select color or black & white prints on the touch-screen before getting started.

How many photos can we take?
An unlimited amount!! Since The Portrait Lounge is open for the entirety of your event, guests may return to the Lounge as many times as they wish and are not limited to a set number of photographs ode inside. After each image is taken, a preview will appear on screen, allowing guests to "improve upon" ;-) their poses throughout the session.

How long does it take for the photos to be printed?
Very quickly! Once your session is completed, your prints will be available within about 30 seconds and can be collected prior to exiting the lounge.

Can we create reprints?
Yes! Just let the attendant know that you'd like another set of prints and we'll be happy to create these for you on-site. If you would like to order reprints after the event, all images will be hosted within a secure online image gallery

How long does it take for our photos to be posted to the online web gallery?
After the event, your images will be posted to a secure, password protected image gallery within one week. Each guest who visits the Lounge will receive an event card displaying the gallery URL and corresponding password, allowing them to access the online web gallery.

Can we provide our own props?
Of course! If you have specific props in mind that go with the theme of your event (or that you think are simply too hilarious not to bring), please do so. While we do our best to ensure that they are returned to you at the end of the evening, we cannot be responsible for lost or stolen props.

Can the booth be setup outdoors?
Yes! The only thing to stop us would be inclement weather, including rain or wind.

What kind of power is needed?
We require a single 110V electrical outlet.

What kind of cameras and printers do you use?
We use only state of the art Canon DSLR cameras and subliminal dye printers.

What time do you arrive at my venue?
Portrait Lounge staff always arrive approximately 2 hours prior to the start of your event. We prefer to set-up out of view of your guests and have it be completely ready to go before the first guest walks in, regardless of what time you want it to be officially "open".

Are there any additional charges for setup, breakdown or transportation?
All setup and breakdown costs are included with the rental of the Lounge. For rentals taking place over 50 miles from downtown Boston, transportation fees may apply and will be discussed with the client on a case by case basis prior to booking.

What is needed to reserve The Portrait Lounge?
A signed service agreement, along with a non-refundable $250 deposit is required to reserve the Lounge. The remaining balance is due 10 days prior to your event.
